Fall into the Hill Country: Celebrating Local Culture, Music, and Community
There is a distinct shift that happens across the Texas Hill Country when autumn rolls around. The sweltering heat gives way to crisp morning breezes, the hills take on a warm golden hue, and our local communities truly come alive again.
It is also peak festival season across the Austin metro area! This fall marks a special milestone, as Austin City Limits Music Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary. We are gearing up for Weekend 2 (October 9–11), and we are so excited to be taking our teenagers for their very first ACL experience! Passing along the Austin music tradition to the next generation is important to us.
Having lived in Austin & Dripping Springs for many years and now calling Wimberley our home, we are constantly reminded of how unique each Hill Country community is. Whether you are coming for the weekend or looking to lay down roots in our area, these local fall cultural events showcase the very best of our vibrant neighborhood spirit.
